Buying house : বায়িং হাউজ এমন একটি প্লাটফর্ম যা Buyer ও supplier এর মাঝে সেতু স্বরুপ কাজ করে থাকে।
সাধারণ buyer সারাসরি garments অর্ডার দিয়ে থাকলেও অনেক সময় buyer সরাসরি garments এ অর্ডার দেয় না কারণ গার্মেন্টস মেনুফ্যাচুরিং একটি দীর্ঘ প্রকিয়া, তাছাড়া গারমের্টস যুক্ত যে কারো সাথে in time communicate করাও সম্ভব হয় না, এজন্য buyer নির্দিষ্ট কোন buying house কে অর্ডার দিয়ে থাকেন ।
আর buying house এক বা একাধিক গার্মেন্টস থেকে buyer এর অর্ডার কম্পলিট করে থাকে।।
একটি Buyeing house এর key person হিসেবে কাজ করে থাকে একজন Merchandiser.
একজন Merchandiser কে buying house এর key person বলার কারণ, buyer এর নিকট থেকে অর্ডার নেয়ার পর থেকে নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে অর্ডারটি বাস্তুবায়নের যাবতীয় কাজের দেক ভাল Merchandiser করে থাকেন।Duties and responsibilities of a marchandiser:
একজন মার্চেন্ডাইজারের মেইন কাজ buyer এর ডিমান্ড /চাহিদা পুরন করা।(to execute the demand of buyer).

→Order recive.
→select supplier.
→Meeting and costing.
→send L/c to the supplier.
→ Make a time shedule.
→Collect sample.
→Bulk production.
→ Arrange materials.
→concern about the shipment date.

এর বাইরেও mailing, communication, ও সকল কাজের আপডেট buyer কে জানানো একজন মার্চেন্ডাইজারের কাজ।
Diffrence between Garments industry and Buying house:
Garment industry : এটি এমন একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান যেখানে গার্মেন্টস বা এপারেল প্রস্তুত করা হয়ে থাকে।
Buying house : এটি এমন প্রতিষ্ঠান যা buyer ও উৎপাদনকারীর মাঝে সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করে।
প্রোডাক্ট ডেভলপমেন্ট এর সাথে গার্মেন্টস ইন্ডাস্ট্রি সরাসরি জড়িত, আর বায়িং হাউজ পরক্ষোভাবে জড়িত।
গার্মেন্টস ইন্ডাস্ট্রি communicate করে থাকে বায়িং হাউজ ও সাপ্লায়ার এর সাথে, আর বায়িং হাউজ communicate করে থাকে buyer ও গার্মেন্টস ইন্ডাস্ট্রি এর সাথে।
গার্মেন্টস ইন্ডাস্ট্রিতে man power বেশি আর buying house তে কম।
গার্মেন্টস ইন্ডাস্ট্রির job গুলতে qulalification কম, কিন্তু buying house এ বেশি।
গার্মেন্টস ইন্ডাস্ট্রি এর salary range, buying house তুলনায় কম।
গার্মেন্টস ইন্ডাস্ট্রি
Working hour কারো কারো জন্য fixed থাকে না, কিন্তু buying house এ working hour fixed.
